Debenham metal theft prompts police appeal




Police have appealed for information after a series of metal thefts, including one in Debenham.

Around 100kg of copper and 50kg of bronze was stolen from a workshop premises on Kenton Road on December 31

The total value of the metal stolen was £650.

Yesterday, two more reports were made of individuals who had been sighted attempted to steal copper cable in Bungay and Beccles.

Police have advised anyone with scrap metal to secure their gates, consider installing security lighting or anti-climb paint.
