Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding an aggravated burglary in Flordon in the early hours of this morning.

At around 3am, three men entered a property in Greenways Lane and threatened the resident, demanding cash.

The victim, a man in his mid-20s, was restrained and then assaulted during the incident.

He received minor injuries to his hands and face after being punched.

The suspects stole items including a laptop, stereo, mobile phone and a hoover before fleeing the scene.

Investigating officer, detective sergeant Sarah Knights, from Norwich CID, said: “While the investigation is in the early stages, our enquiries are focused on this being a targeted incident as opposed to a random attack.

“We are also exploring the possibility of links with a similar incident in Wymondham at the end of July.”

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed three men acting suspiciously in the area around the time stated.

Witnesses should contact DS Knights at Norwich CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
