Harleston thefts see two men, age 34 and 78, charged




Two men have been charged following a series of thefts in Harleston.

These charges relate to five incidents which occurred between June 28 and Wednesday, where goods were stolen from two stores in Harleston.

Two men were arrested shortly after 11am on Wednesday and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning. One of the suspects was additionally found to be driving whilst disqualified and under the influence of alcohol.

Julian Cardoza, aged 34, of Station Road, Stowmarket, was charged with three counts of theft. He was further charged with drink driving and driving whilst disqualified.

Anthony Cardoza, aged 78, of Station Road, Stowmarket, was charged with five counts of theft from a shop.

Both men have been bailed and are due to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on August 29 and September 1 respectively.
