Men charged after police find £770,000 cannabis factory in Harleston




Two men have been charged with drug offences following the discovery of a cannabis factory worth £770,000 in Harleston.

Norfolk Police officers executed a warrant at a property in Mayflower Way, on Friday, and found approximately 770 cannabis plants, along with heat lamps, fans and electrical transformers.

Arnold Uku, 27, and Anton Biba, 22, both of no fixed address, were arrested at the scene and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

Both were charged with being concerned in the production of a class B drug, namely cannabis.

They appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and were remanded into custody ahead of their next court appearance at Norwich Crown Court on July 8.
