Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Tivetshall St Margaret which left a man with serious head injuries.

The incident happened on Saturday at about 6.55am on the B1134 Station Road. A silver Ford Fiesta, travelling from The Pulhams towards Attleborough, left the roadside and came to rest in a ditch.

The driver, aged in his mid-20s, was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, where he remains in a critical condition.

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and enquiries were carried out. It was re-opened at about 10am.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has information concerning the driving manner of the vehicle prior to the incident.
