Man suffers minor injuries as car hits tree in Roydon

A man in his 70s was treated for minor injuries after a car hit a tree in Roydon this morning.

It happened on the A1066 at 11.29am.

Emergency services responded and found a Citroen Nemo had hit a tree.

A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service Trust said the man was treated for minor injuries and chest pains before being discharged at the scene.

The road was temporary blocked by the emergency services while they were dealing with the incident.
