Man killed in crash on Suffolk/Norfolk border - Thetford man arrested
A man has died following a road traffic collision on the Suffolk/Norfolk border and a second man arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
Police were called at 5:05 am this morning, Sunday 9 October, to reports a collision between a Ford Mondeo and a Fiat Panda on the B1107 Brandon Road near Santon Downham.
The male driver of the Fiat Panda sadly died at the scene.
The road was closed whilst a collision investigation takes place, with diversions via Green Road and the B1106
A 33-year-old man from Thetford has been arrested on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol in connection with this collision and taken to hospital for treatment.
