Man in critical condition after falling from ladder and colliding with another person in Wymondham

A man was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition after falling 20ft from a ladder and colliding with another person in Wymondham on Thursday.

The East of England Ambulance Service were called to Browick Road at 2.14pm. Two ambulance crews, a rapid response vehicle, Norfolk Accident Rescue Service and the East Anglian Air Ambulance Service attended.

A man in his 80s was treated for a serious head injury and was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge for further treatment.

The second patient, who suffered a chest injury, was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment.
