An ambulance was dispatched to Diss this morning after a man’s eyes and face were exposed to a chemical.

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) were called at 4.42am to Victoria Road.

An ambulance crew and ambulance officer assessed the man, believed to be in his 50s, at the scene.

He did not require transport to hospital.
