Man dies in fatal Newton Flotman crash

A man has died following a fatal accident in Newton Flotman on Sunday.

Police are now appealing for information following the crash, which happened just before midday on the A140.

The collision involved a car and a pedestrian.

Emergency services attended the scene where a male pedestrian in his 60s was found to have sustained life threatening head injuries. He was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, where he died.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have any information to assist with their enquiries, including a man walking a dog along the A140 at the time of the collision, who may have witnessed the incident.

The road was closed and diversions were put in place until 2.30pm.
