Man dies and another in life-threatening condition after Wortwell collision




Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Wortwell.

The collision happened on the A143 Bungay Road, at 10.25pm yesterday, when a white Seat Ibiza collided with a black Mercedes-Benz EQA.

The driver of the Seat, a man aged in his 20s, died at the scene.

The driver of the Mercedes, a man aged in his 40s, was airlifted to Addenbrookes in a life-threatening condition.

A full road closure was in place to allow emergency services attended the scene including fire and ambulance.

The road reopened at around 12.40pm today.
