Man charged with stealing a milk float in Diss and failing to provide a breath test




A man has been charged in connection with a vehicle theft in Diss.

The incident happen yesterday, March 5, shortly after 4.30am, when a milk delivery van was stolen from the forecourt at the Shell petrol station on Victoria Road in the town.

The vehicle was later recovered in a field off the B1111 at Barningham in Suffolk.

Essa Al Dossary, 27, of no fixed address, was arrested in connection with the incident and taken to Bury St. Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

He was subsequently charged with aggravated vehicle taking, driving without insurance and failing to provide a breath test.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court this today, Wednesday March 6.
