Diss man charged and set for court after meat and alcohol thefts from supermarkets




A Diss man who stole meat and alcohol worth hundreds of pounds from a pair of supermarkets has been charged with shoplifting.

Mandro Jones, 33, of Tavern Close in the town was charged by Norfolk Police on Monday for two counts of theft from a shop.

It follows two incidents which occurred on November 8 in Diss, and December 14 Harleston last year – during these incidents, alcohol and meat were stolen to the total value of approximately £314.

He is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on tomorrow (March 15).
