Attleborough assault arrest is made after woman suffers serious leg injuries

A man has been arrested after a woman was assaulted at Connaught Recreation Ground on Saturday.

The woman, who is in her 30s, sustained serious leg injuries during the assault and required hospital treatment.

The incident, which happened between 4pm and 5pm involved two people who were known to each other.

A man, aged in his 40s and from the Cambridgeshire area, was arrested in connection with the incident yesterday and remains in custody.
