Man appears in court after being charged with rape in Norwich

A 34-year-old man has appeared in court after being charged with rape.

Following an incident which happened in Norwich, on September 22, police arrested a man six days later and he was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

Scott Jackson, 34, of Wattisfield Road, Walsham-le-Willows, was charged with the rape of a female over the age of 16.

He appeared at Norwich Magistrate’s Court yesterday (September 30), where he was remanded in custody to appear at Norwich Crown Court on October 28.
