Kenny Britton, 36, of The Close, Eye, admits theft sprees in Diss and Harleston




A man admitted stealing more than £1,500 of meat and other foods in a theft spree in two towns.

Kenny Britton, 36, of The Close, Eye, pleaded guilty to three counts of theft from a shop at Suffolk Magsitrates’ Court on Tuesday.

The offences took place in Diss and Harleston in February and March.

On February 11, Britton stole £713.98 worth of foods from the East of England Co-op in Harleston, £412.08 of more foods from Aldi in Diss on March 7 and £400 of meat from Tesco in Diss on March 15.

Britton was handed an 18 month prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, while he was also ordered to attend a drug rehabilitation programme and fined £239.

He was represented by Oslers Solicitors.
