LETTERS: Street events would encourage shoppers into Diss
I have lived in Diss for four years and love our little market town.
However, I think that the shops should work together to hold events in the streets of the town, which would encourage people to shop.
The issue I have is that it can be a nightmare to shop with my children. I find that some shops are more accepting than others of the noise when you have children with you.
The shops close by 5pm and I do not finish work until then, which means that, if I need anything, I tend to shop online, which is then delivered the next day.

Promoting discounts, getting families involved in street events would help make the town more inviting.
