LETTER - ‘Fill empty shops in Diss before building new ones’
Can anyone explain why there is to be a planning submission for four retail units behind the Thatcher’s Needle in Diss, especially when there still so many empty shops around the actual town.
It is often quoted that people will not walk beyond Mere Street, if this is true, will they want to walk to these proposed shops?
With a small retail development off Victoria Road, why do we need another?
Let us keep the centre of our beautiful town a busy focal point.
