Investigation ongoing into cannabis farm discovery in the grounds of The Swan Inn in Hoxne

A police raid earlier in the month at a village pub discovered a cannabis farm within its grounds.

Officers from Norfolk and Suffolk Police executed a warrant at The Swan Inn, in Low Street, Hoxne, on May 7, and found cannabis plants in one of the pub’s outbuildings.

On May 18, a woman and a man were arrested and interviewed under suspicion of cultivating cannabis, abstraction of electricity and criminal damage to a dwelling, they have since been released under investigation.
