Investigation ongoing after the discovery of a ‘large-scale cannabis growing operation’ in grounds of The Swan Inn, in Low Street, Hoxne




Investigations are ongoing after the discovery of a ‘large-scale cannabis growing operation’ within the grounds of a pub.

Officers from Norfolk and Suffolk Police searched The Swan Inn, in Low Street, Hoxne, on May 7, and found evidence of approximately 500 cannabis plants.

On May 18, a woman and a man were arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis, abstraction of electricity and criminal damage to a dwelling.

They have since been released under investigation.

The pub’s licence has since been suspended.
