Hopes for “massive turnout” at Diss firm’s first-ever Christmas fayre
A Diss based business is hoping for “massive public support” when they hold their first-ever Christmas Fayre next week, all in the name of charity.
Midwich, a technology solutions firm based in Vinces Road, have organised the event for the Park Hotel on Thursday, November 26, from 5pm to 8pm. Funds raised will be donated to cancer charity The Big C.
We would love to see as many people as possible from around the area make a visit
There will be a range of festive stalls for guests to get their Christmas shopping underway, local food will be on offer, while children can visit the ‘kids zone’ for an all-inclusive price of £5.
Mel Smith-Kerry of Midwich said: “The Midwich staff have been working very hard this year to raise funds for The Big C, which does fantastic work in the local community.
“We are therefore hoping for a massive public turnout to support this event.
“We would love to see as many people as possible from around the area make a visit.
“Midwich staff have raised £10,500 so far this year, however we want to go one step further and make it an extra special fundraising year for the Big C. An event like this takes a lot of hard work to organise, but ultimately it’s support from the public that makes it a success, so we encourage people to come along and get involved.”
Donations for items are being accepted at Midwich on Monday and Tuesday.
