Mid Suffolk District Council confirmed the beneficiaries of the latest round of capital grant allocations, following the recent application window in January.
A total of 13 community projects were successful, including Wattisfield Community Centre, which received £10,000 to fund the replacement of its roof.
Harleston Magpies Hockey Club has been given £9,425 to purchase specialist pitch maintenance equipment and storage.
Elsewhere, Rickinghall Village Hall was successful in being granted £8,262 to refurbish its multi-use games area.
Other recipients included Worlingworth Cricket Club (£6,053), Palgrave and District Community Centre (£2,791), Occold Recreation and Amenities Council (£2,796), First Debenham Scout Group (£2,875) and First Fressingfield Scout Group (£1,800).
Teresa Davis, the council’s cabinet member for thriving communities, welcomed the funding.
“I am so pleased that we received a large number of successful applications in mid-Suffolk, ensuring that the benefits of this funding can be felt by a large number of people all across the district,” she said.
“When one application window closes, another one is bound to open, so always check the ‘community funding’ section of our website to find out what support we can offer your local organisation.”
