Harleston firefighters were using their hoses for a different cause at the weekend, washing cars to raise charity cash.

Hosted in the Budgens car park in the town on Saturday, about 30 cars were washed, resulting in £263.64 for The Fire Fighters Charity.

This helps support the quality of life for serving and retired firefighters, fire personnel and their families.

On the day they were assisted by Shaun and Laura Button.

Mr Button was cut free from his car by the Harleston crew following a car accident caused by a severe migraine attack.
