Harleston Cornucopia to appear in BBC’s Celebrity Antiques Road Trip

A Harleston antiques arcade is set to be shown on television as part of the BBC’s Celebrity Antiques Road Trip this week.

Cornucopia, which is based in the town’s Corn Exchange, will appear in the show, where antiques experts accompany celebrities around the UK searching for treasures and competing to make the most money at auction.

Glen Philpott, one of the directors of Cornucopia, said: “It was brilliant to have them here again. It will hopefully bring more people into the town and is great for us.

“They did this episode back in May and then came again a couple of weeks later – each time, they filmed for about three hours.”

The vintage arcade shop is no stranger to the programme, having welcomed expert James Braxton and chef Gennaro Contaldo there for the show in May 2016.

The latest episode will be shown on BBC2 tonight at 7pm.
