Tivetshall Primary School executive headteacher Carol Green says they are aiming to continually improve after a recent Ofsted inspection deemed the school to be ‘Good’.
The latest check held during March found the school had “strong leadership”, pupils were performing well, and their behaviour was deemed ‘outstanding’.
It was last inspected in March 2013, with Ofsted giving the school a ‘requires improvement’ rating.
Mrs Green, who is entering her third year working with the school, said an emphasis had been placed on professional development, and looking into research on marking and pupil feedback.
“I think it is a reward for everybody’s hard work and teamwork,” she said.
“Everybody working together as a team, and not going in different directions is important.”
But what does the school need to improve further?
“I think we need to look at everything,” Mrs Green added. “Every school requires improvement, and an outstanding rating implies it is the best it can be, but you can always improve.”
