Harleston Beer Festival at The Swan Hotel in the The Thoroughfare proves a success




Top beers, live music, great food and good times were all on the menu for a popular beer festival at the weekend.

The festival was held at The Swan Hotel in the The Thoroughfare, Harleston, on Friday and Saturday.

There were 25 beers from East Anglian breweries to try.

The festival is organised by Harleston and District Round Table and also raises fund for good causes.

It began at 5pm on there were also five refreshing ciders, wine, Prosecco and gin and tonic. Food was supplied by Pepperell's Meats. There was live music all weekend

A spokesman said: “We’re were proud to team up with Young Farmers, Harleston 41 Club, and Diss and District Round Table to bring people one of the best events in town – all in support of local good causes.

“There was great community spirit and vibes throughout.”

Live music included NR SKA, Ricky Mills, Heidi Marie, Nevermore and Red Mecca.
