General Elections 2019: All you need to know about who is standing in South Norfolk and Central Suffolk




The candidates in the running to be your next MP have been announced ahead of the pre-Christmas election.

Voters will cast their ballots on Thursday, December 12, after MPs supported a pre-Christmas election.

If you are not on the register of electors, you cannot vote in elections.

If you have not yet registered or have recently moved, you will need to register by midnight Tuesday, November 26 for this election.

The easiest way is to register online.

You will need your National Insurance number and date of birth in order to register.

All candidates standing in the constituency are invited to submit a 150-word profile outlining why our readers should vote for them, together with a photo.

The deadline for this is 2pm on November 22 and all profiles received by this deadline will be published in the Express on Friday, December 6.
