Conservative Party candidate Dr Dan Poulter will return as the Member of Parliament for Central Suffolk and North Ipswich, after winning his fourth consecutive election.
The former health minister received 35,253 votes, increasing his majority from the last general election in 2017.
National exit polls have projected that the Tories will gain enough seats to secure a Parliamentary majority.
Labour's Emma Bonner-Morgan placed second, with 11,862 votes.
James Sandbach, representing the Liberal Democrats, came third, with 6,485 votes.
Daniel Pratt, the Green Party candidate, finished fourth, with 2,650 votes.
The turnout was 70.65 per cent, down from 72.4 per cent in the previous election two years ago.
