Four people had to be cut free from vehicles after a crash in Framlingham on Friday.

The collision involved three vehicles and happened in Saxmundham Road at about 1.39pm.

Fire crews from Framlingham, Stradbroke, Leiston and Saxmundham responded, and had the incident under control by 2.35pm.

One person, described as elderly in their late 70s or early 80s, were taken to Ipswich Hospital along with another casualty for further treatment. Their injuries were not thought to be serious or life threatening.
