Four tonne hay fire in Stratton St Michael being treated as arson




Police are treating a fire in Stratton St Michael as arson after a blaze involving four tonnes of hay in Stratton St Michael this morning.

A crew from Long Stratton responded to reports of a fire in Church Lane, arriving at the scene at 7.43am.

They battled the blaze for more than an hour, getting it under control by 8.54am.

Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call police on 101.
