Attleborough and Watton targeted in spate of car thefts with remote device
Attleborough and Watton have been targeted by car thieves in recent weeks, with access to vehicles gained through a remote device.
Norfolk Police have appealed for information relating to the thefts - one of which took place in Attleborough at the weekend.
Between the hours of 9pm on Saturday and 6.30am on Sunday, a grey Mini Clubman was stolen from Orchard Close, with a remote device believed to have been used to gain access.
PC Austin Clarke, beat manager at Breckland, said: "We are urging car owners to be vigilant as we believe these vehicles were stolen using a remote device and may be linked.
"There are a number of steps you can take to help prevent keyless thefts and reduce the risks of becoming a victim of this type of crime which we outline in our tips below.”
