Four arrests made after police discover cannabis factory in quiet Suffolk village

Four people have been arrested following the discovery of a cannabis factory on a premises in Stonham Aspal.

More than 100 cannabis plants and hydroponic equipment were found at the business unit in Mickfield Road.

A 77-year-old man from the Ipswich area, a 40-year-old man from Bramford and a 21-year-old woman from the Stowmarket area were arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis.

A third man, a 45-year-old man from Ipswich, was also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply cannabis in connection with the find.
