Suffolk to be blanketed in fog tomorrow as Met Office issues weather warning




The Met Office has issues a yellow weather warning for fog, which is expected in Suffolk tomorrow.

The warning comes on the back of another cold snap across the country, and is expected to begin around midnight on Saturday and could persist beyond Sunday in places.

The Met Office warning said: "Freezing fog will lead to difficult driving conditions and could cause travel delays in some areas on Saturday night and Sunday morning.

"Expect probable slower journey times by car, with delays to bus and train services possible. Untreated surfaces may become slippery, leading to increased chance of accidents or injuries and there is a chance of delays or cancellations to flights."
