Crews from Diss, Thetford and Harleston called to fire at The Thatchers Needle in Park Road




Multiple crews were called to a fire at a town pub this afternoon

Residents reported seeing a trio of fire engines at The Thatchers Needle in Diss.

A Norfolk Fire and Rescue spokesperson said appliances from Diss, Thetford and Harleston were called to Park Road at 12.26pm.

Crews wore breathing apparatus and used main jets and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

A thermal imaging camera was also used to check for hot spots. The stop time on the incident was 1.08pm.
