Man in his 50s left in serious condition after A140 crash




A man who had to be release from his car by fire crews after a crash is in a serious condition in hospital.

The incident involved a black Vauxhall Mokka which was travelling northbound along the A140 yesterday, just after 3pm.

The vehicle left the road at the roundabout at the junction with Norwich Road. There were no other vehicles involved.

Fire crews from Diss, Long Stratton and Harleston attended the scene and had to use hydraulic rescue equipment to release the man in his 50s from his vehicle.

He was taken by ambulance to Norfolk and Norwich Hospital where he is in a serious condition.

Norfolk Police is keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or the manner of driving prior, or has any relevant dashcam footage.
