Town fire crew called to early morning car fire in Willbye Avenue, Diss

Images showing a car fire in a Diss street in the early hours of this morning have been revealed.

Pictures sent into the Diss Express by a resident show a car on fire in Willbye Avenue.

According to Norfolk Fire and Rescue they received a call at 1.30am this morning of a vehicle on fire.

A single unit from Diss attended the scene and using hose reel jets to extinguish the flames, closed the incident at 2.08am.

Police and the ambulance service were also in attendance and there were no injuries.
