Fire crew attend dog locked in a car

A fire crew was called out this weekend to a report that a dog was locked in a car.

The incident happened on the A143 at Thorpe Abbotts on Saturday around 4.15pm after the dog became trapped in the car with the car keys.

A vehicle was dispatched from Harleston Fire Service and the dog was rescued within 15 minutes.

It is unclear how the dog came to be locked in the car with the keys.
