Fifty pigs died after a bonfire spread to a barn at a Hoxne farm on Saturday.
About 100 tonnes of straw were lost in the blaze, which happened in Green Street at 1.15pm.
Two crews from Diss, as well as appliances from Stradbroke, Harleston and Ixworth, attended, and had the fire under control by 4.20pm.
The bonfire became out of control due to increasing winds.
A spokesperson for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said the incident was not linked to another barn fire in Green Street on March 9.
