Field fire battled in Banham

A crew from Attleborough was called to tackle a stubble fire in Banham last night.

The incident happened in Cherry Tree Road at 6.41pm.

A fire crew arrived at the scene at 6.57pm and the blaze was deemed under control by 7pm.

Firefighters used hand appliances to extinguish the blaze. No one was reported to have been hurt in the incident.
