Festive farce

A festive comedy based on a beloved eastern European folk tale is laying down roots at the New Cut in Halesworth across several dates in the coming weeks.

Offered as an alternative to the ‘normal’ pantomime, The Blacksmith Who Chased The Moon is a romantic farce with elements of magic and suspense thrown in, which is designed to appeal to an audience of all ages.

Written and adapted by Anthony Cule, known for previously spearheading The Bricks of Burston, this production is a family show brought to life by a talented cast of seven actors.

The performance dates this year are Monday, December 28, Tuesday, December 29 and Wednesday, December 30, all at 7.30pm.

Next year, it will be performed on Saturday, January 2, at 2.30pm and 7.30pm, and Sunday, January 3, at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £10 standard, £9 concessions and £6 under 16s. Call 0845 673 2123 to book.
