Farm-themed summer art trail moves in to Harleston and Eye, in aid of The Blossom Charity
Farmyard animals, albeit it of the inanimate variety, have moved in across Harleston and Eye this summer.
Art is meeting the countryside in this year’s art sculpture trail, where visitors can explore a vibrant display of individually designed and painted farm yard animals around the towns.
Running throughout the summer holidays, the trail showcases farm-themed sculptures created by local and regional artists, promising a family activity filled with discovery, photo opportunities and artistic inspiration.
When the trail ends in September the sculptures will be auctioned at a special evening event, hosted at The Oaksmere, in Brome, on September 24.
All proceeds will go Eye-based The Blossom Charity, towards helping people in the community through coaching and workshops, in addition to offering make-over days to women who have been through cancer treatment. The auction will be conducted by Clarke and Simpson.
Clare Jackson, from Blossom, said “We’re thrilled to bring the sculpture art trail to Harleston and Eye again this year and so grateful to all the artists and sponsors who make it possible.
“It’s a wonderful celebration of talent and community spirit – and what better way to end the summer than with the excitement of the auction?”
Tickets for the auction evening are £15 each – available at https://tinyurl.com/md2r48xy – including a welcome glass of fizz and canapés.
