Fundraisers did not waste any time when they supported a football club last Sunday.

In just a few hours, more than £1,300 was made for Attleborough Town FC at a family fun day at The Cock.

Events included an auction with a signed Norwich City FC shirt donated by J F Flooring, which was knocked down to David Barber for £250.

Pub proprietor Louise Barber said: “We had a fantastic afternoon and the children had so much fun. We want to say a huge thank you to the local businesses that supported us and Jacqui Eagling, our events manager, for organising the day.”
