Families invited to Burston Crown’s first-ever ‘Fun Day Out’
Families are being invited to a day of entertainment when The Burston Crown hosts its first-ever ‘Fun Day Out’ on May 22.
The inaugural ‘Fun Day Out’ features Full of Fire Entertainment from London providing fire eating, juggling, acrobatics and much more and Tilly the Storyteller will be taking kids on extraordinary story telling journeys throughout the afternoon.
Michelin starr chef Freddie Jones will be the judge in the Burston Bake-off Battenberg contest, and there is a dog show visitors can enter; best six legs, fastest sausage eater, dog judge would most like to take home.
Also on offer is music and dance, a beer festival, barbecue, Mexican tacos and a garden for kids to play in.
Crown owner Bev Kembery said: “We are well established for the quality of our food and as a venue for original music and helping musicians to establish themselves locally. In fact many musicians who have started playing at the Burston Crown have gone on to play at festivals including WoW and Maui Waui. Now we are focussing on providing families with fun and entertainment.
“We live in the community and want to provide for the entire community, and this first Fun day Out is our first step in providing free to access fun and play in a totally safe village environment.”
