Norfolk Police have launched an official enquiry following an allegation of assault by a member of staff at a hospital in Attleborough.

Investigations are still ongoing after reports that a girl was kicked in the back at Ellingham Hospital, a facility which provides care and schooling to 12-18 year olds with complex mental health, emotional, social and behavioural difficulties.

Partnerships in Care, the organisation managing the hospital, said it cannot provide comment on any alleged incident.
