Emergency services attend light aircraft crash near Tibenham Airfield

Emergency services, including the coastguard, were called to a light aircraft crash near an airfield this weekend.

Norfolk Police as well as fire crews from Diss, Attleborough and Wymondham attended the incident in Pristow Green Lane, near Tibenham Airfield at 1.42pm on Sunday, following reports of an airplane crash.

The crews provided casualty care to the pilot and a passenger, who suffered minor injuries, before being handed to the ambulance service.

The incident was fully resolved at 4.22pm.
