A duckling was rescued in Stradbroke on Friday

It’s a story that would warm the heart of Mere Quacks star Dinsdale.

Firefighters from Stradbroke Fire Station were alerted to a young duckling which had become stuck in a drainage pipe in the village at 2.30pm on Friday.

They used a hose to help the duckling into a rescuable position and was reunited with its mother later that day.
