Pair charged with drug offences after officers stop car in Diss supermarket
A man and a woman have been charged with drug offences after police descended on a Diss supermarket last week.
Officers were seen at Aldi in Park Road at around noon on Wednesday as a vehicle was stopped.
At the time, three people were arrested on suspicion of drug offences.
But now, Wiem Lakhdari, 22, of Waldegrave Road, London, has been charged with the supply of heroin and crack cocaine, and
Iqbal Doulatzai, 25, of Argyle Road, London, has been charged with the supply of heroin and crack cocaine, and failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
Both appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court on Friday 15 September 2023 and were remanded into custody.
Lakhdari and Doulatzai are next due to appear at Norwich Crown Court on October 13.
A third person, a boy in his late teens, was arrested on suspicion of drug offences and released on bail pending further enquiries.
