Driver to appear in court after drink driving charge following A11 collision




A driver has been bailed and set to appear in court tomorrow after a single vehicle collision on the A11.

Officers from South Norfolk Police were called to an incident, near Ketteringham, following reports of the crash on Sunday, at around 8.50pm.

In a Facebook post on the South Norfolk Police page, it said: “The driver was breathalysed, arrested and taken to Wymondham PIC for questioning.

“He gave evidence of 101 units of alcohol per 100ml breath (just under three times the limit).

“He has since been charged for driving under the influence and was bailed to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.”
