Driver killed after lorry hits lamppost in south Norfolk village

A lorry driver has been killed following a crash in south Norfolk this morning.

It happened on the B1172 at Besthorpe at about 6.50am.

The lorry left the road and hit a lamppost before coming to rest in a field.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road has been closed between Station Road and Eleven Mile Lane while emergency services deal with the incident.
