A young Tottenham Hostspur fan saw her dream come true when she walked on to the pitch at Wembley with her footballing heroes.

Jessica-Rae Manning, eight, from Pulham Market, could not believe her luck when she was selected from 30,000 members of supporters club One Hotspurs to be the non-fee paying mascot at the team’s game against Fulham on Saturday.

She met the players, who also posed for photos, and then held Tottenham and England midfielder Eric Dier’s hand as the team walked out in front of 59,000 fans. Tottenham won 3- 1.

“I was both excited and nervous at the same time,” said Jessica-Rae. Proud dad and Tottenham fanatic David said: “I was so proud, if even a little jealous. I have been a Tottenham fan all my life and thought, well if she bottles it, blow it, I'll hold Harry Kane's hand!"

Jessica-rae's big moment also appeared on Match of the Day.
